The Enterprise & Job Creation Unit
The Enterprise and Job Creation Unit is in charge of supporting and fostering youth entrepreneurship and productivity. This unit collaborates with private sectors to secure job opportunities for young persons interested in entering the work force. To be better prepared for these opportunities, youth are offered training in: interviewing skills, networking skills, resume and application writing, and professional and work ethics. To encourage the spirit of entrepreneurship among youth, trainings are offered to develop business plans. Referral services are also available for those interested in funding for business plans.
To strengthen existing job skills programs and develop new and relevant ones to meet the needs of the job market.
To foster exposure of youth who have acquired job skills or entrepreneurial skills.
To enable the establishment of small businesses through the development of Young Entrepreneur Enhancement Training.
To develop entrepreneurial skills within youth.
To encourage the establishment of young entrepreneurs in our nation.
